The honeycomb shelving unit will be comprised of 12 hexagons in 3 columns, as shown in the images above. (The third image shows a 9 hex unit featuring the same size hexagons with items displayed inside, for reference on size of interior storage space.)
 
M A T E R I A L + F I N I S H
 
Solid pine wood without finish (fully sanded to fine 220 grit level). Images above show the pine wood without finish, except the second one which shows an example of this design used as a retail display in a tan-colored stain.
 
Lumber thickness is 7/8" along the outer perimeter of the honeycomb unit, with doubled thickness of 1.75" throughout the unit's interior in which all adjacent hexagon panels are joined together.

I N S T A L L A T I O N
 
Two matching solid pine brackets will be included (along with screws & instructions) for mounting the shelving unit directly into wall studs for increased stability and safety, which is especially important if the unit will be in a location where children may ever be present.
 
The brackets will need to be attached to the unit at hexagon positions which line up with wall stud locations, according to the final placement of the unit along the wall. They are 7/8" thick and extend along the width of a hexagon's upper panel & about 1.5" underneath. And they will be pre-drilled for attaching to the back of the shelving unit, to allow clearance for a baseboard.
 
If the shelving unit will not be placed in front of a baseboard and will instead be mounted flush to the wall, please notify us so we can make a slightly smaller size bracket for this purpose. This style will nest inside the hexagon flush with the back, and will be pre-drilled to attach to the underside of the hexagon's upper panel.
 
D E L I V E R Y
 
This design will be divided into two sections for transport (upper and lower), to be reconnected through the pre-drilled openings using the provided screws and matching drill bit.
 
The pieces will be shipped directly to the destination via single vehicle transport, with assistance provided by the driver in unloading as well as carrying indoors if desired. Help will be needed from at least one other person at the delivery location.
 
Most furniture carriers deliver seven days a week anytime between 8 am - 8 pm, since they are transporting by single vehicle over cross-country routes, and will not be in a given area again to enable delayed delivery at another time.
 
We will arrange for the piece to be delivered before July 1st, and
at the time of shipping, I will let you know the estimated date range for delivery.  Then once the driver is closer to arriving, they will contact you directly to provide a more specific ETA.
 
* During the checkout process, please provide the best contact number (and an alternate if available) for the driver to reach you. They will give advance notice of their arrival so that you can ensure someone will be available to assist and receive an indoor delivery during that time.
 
* If there are any specific hours or days of the week/weekend between 8 am - 8 pm when you would not be able to arrange to receive your piece at the delivery address, please include that information in the note during purchase or notify us as far in advance as possible, so we can find a shipping carrier who is able to accommodate that.
