The custom honeycomb shelving unit will be comprised of 22 hexagons, configured as shown in the first image above.
 
M A T E R I A L + F I N I S H
 
Solid maple hardwood with AFM Safecoat Naturals clear non-toxic oil/wax finish (product image & description shown in image 8).
 
Examples of the maple hardwood's natural variation in color and grain patterns, as well as its appearance under varied lighting conditions, are shown in images 2-7.
 
7/8" lumber thickness along the outer perimeter of the honeycomb unit, with doubled thickness of 1.75" throughout the unit's interior in which all adjacent hexagon panels are joined together.

This design will be divided into most likely 3-4 sections for transport, to be reconnected through the pre-drilled openings using the included screws and matching drill bit (detailed instructions also provided).
 
Please let us know if you wish to mount the shelving unit directly into wall studs for increased stability, which is especially important if young children may ever be present around the unit.  In that case (and unless you prefer to mount a different way), we will make matching solid maple brackets to enable this, and provide the screws & instructions for the process.
 
D E L I V E R Y
 
The pieces will be shipped directly to the destination via single vehicle transport, with assistance provided by the driver in unloading as well as carrying indoors if desired.  Help will be needed from at least one other person at the delivery location, but two people would be preferable to best protect the structure.
 
At the time of shipping, I will let you know the estimated date range for delivery.  Then the driver will contact you directly the day before arrival to notify on the rough timing for the delivery window.
 
*  During the checkout process, please provide the best contact number (and an alternate if available) for the driver to reach you with advance notice of their arrival.
 
*  Please let us know the days/hours when your loading dock is available for delivery so we can confirm that the shipping carrier can arrange delivery within that timeframe. Thank you!
