This custom honeycomb shelving design will be comprised of 24 hexagons and 4 trapezoid support/display shelves, as shown in the sketch above (but divided into two sections with center column removed, due to design adjustment in order to fit within available wall space after adding storage bins).
The structure will include matching solid red oak hardwood back panels, inset within all hexagons and trapezoids, for structural reinforcement to support the extra heavy weight of the many dumbbells to be stored within the unit.

7/8" lumber thickness along the outer perimeter of the honeycomb unit, with doubled thickness of 1.75" throughout the unit's interior in which all adjacent hexagon panels are joined together.

* Width of usable storage space increases upward within the lower half of hexagon to approx. 18” in between the left and right hex corners, and decreases back to 9.5" wide inside the top of the hexagon.

This design may need to be divided into four sections for manageable maneuvering during loading/unloading and to fit into cargo space for transport. The sections are reconnected through the pre-drilled holes using the provided screws and matching drill bit.
