Solid unfinished black locust hardwood in 1" lumber thickness along outer perimeter of the honeycomb unit, with doubled thickness of 2" throughout unit's interior in which all adjoining hexagon panels are attached together. 
 
The first image above features the design in maple hardwood, and examples of the black locust lumber's appearance are included in other images above.  The last photo shows the boards dampened with water to deepen the color and highlight the grain patterns, and the golden-brown color of the wood will naturally weather to a grey patina with exposure to the elements.

Shipping rate to be determined and payable after delivery arrangements are finalized, for direct transport to the destination via cargo van carrier.  The honeycomb structure will be delivered either in two sections, to be rejoined through the pre-drilled openings using the provided screws -- or if the carrier's available cargo space allows, it may be possible to ship fully assembled in one piece.
