Each shelving unit will need to be mounted directly into wall studs to support the weight and design of the honeycomb structure.

The specific installation method for this custom project will need to be discussed with John before completing and shipping your order -- as our normal method would cover up the lighting cable channel in the upper horizontal hex panels within the hexagons where the mounting brackets would be installed.

Our usual installation process, as explained in a previous email, is to make matching brackets (the stained solid pine wood in this case) that need to be attached to the unit at hexagon positions which line up with your wall stud locations.

The brackets are 7/8" thick, extend about 1.5" below the upper hex panel, and would be ~6" wide so they can nest at the top inside the upper three hex sides, flush with the back of the unit.  They are pre-drilled to attach to the underside of the hexagon's upper panel, and then need to be screwed through into the center of the wall studs. (We provide screws and detailed instructions for this installation method.)

The two units will each first be fully assembled in one piece, but may need to be divided into upper and lower sections to fit within a carrier's available cargo space.  (Screws and matching drill bit will be provided to reattach the sections.)

The pieces will be shipped via single vehicle transport, with assistance by the driver in unloading and carrying indoors if desired.  Help will be needed from at least one other person at the location to carry and protect the piece from damage while navigating around other objects or through doorways.

Most furniture delivery drivers deliver seven days a week between 8 am - 8 pm, as these are single vehicle cross-country transport routes.  At the time of shipping, I will let you know the estimated date range for delivery, and then the shipping carrier will contact you directly once they are closer to arriving and can provide a more specific ETA.

The delivery driver will need to reach you before delivery so please provide the best contact number(s) for that when placing the order.  They will give advance notice of their arrival time so that you can ensure someone will be available to assist and receive an inside delivery during that time.

If there are any specific hours or days of the week/weekend between 8 am - 8 pm when you cannot arrange to receive your pieces at the delivery address, please let us know this as well.

After you select Texas for your state at the beginning of the checkout process, please select the "Rate TBD" option in the drop-down shipping menu so we can process the exact shipping charge separately once we find a rate and timing option that works best for you.
